Last week, because of the flu scare, it was just us and another mom and baby at Gymboree. They are very, very careful about disinfecting the entire gym and all of the toys after each class. Also, if a baby chews on something during the class, it's immediately put in the "toy wash" bucket for sterilization. For hygienic reasons, I assume, the Magic Box only had easily-cleanable board books in it this time. Stella was very disappointed and her facial expression made that really obvious. The instructor excitedly took all the books out and put the box with it's lid to the side. Stella crawled over the box and opened the lid to make sure that there wasn't anything else fun in it. She then started putting the books back in the Magic Box as if to say, "Alright, this is boring...let's move on." The instructor kept telling her that it wasn't time to put the books away. They only get about 5 minutes to play with the Magic Box toys anyway!!!
